I am a mom of three sons and three fur babies. The other loves of my life include delicious nourishing food, hiking, gardening, fitness, traveling, photography, and all things related to sustainability and environmentally-friendly practices. My intellectual development has taken shape with a B.A. Psychology degree and a M.S. Complementary Alternative Medicine (CAM) degree, with a focus on Holistic Nutrition and Medicinal Herbs. I also have Reiki Level 1 and 2 Certifications (Usui/Holy Fire III). To round it out, my occupational experience is focused on education (elementary and special education) and writing.

Plus, it seems to be a good means for health and wellness enthusiasts to nerd out with other like-minded individuals.
What is your blogging philosophy?
I truly believe that we’re all connected and we each have an effect on the world around us. When we mindfully start adding in choices that enhance our own lives and bodies, the positive effects ripple out to our families, community, and planet. Every happy, balanced, fulfilled “bubble” makes the world a better place, so a happy you makes a happy we. Wouldn’t it be great if we were all glowing with joy, health, and excitement for the future? We’re all in this together, so let’s all take responsibility for our own choices, as well as reaching our hands and hearts out to each other. Just sprinkle it in a little bit at a time and watch how the positive effects come into play. My aim is to offer reliable, evidence-based information, tips, and resources to aid this journey for others.
