In this day and age, where children and their parents tend to be quite disconnected from each other, either because the parents work long hours or the children spend more and more time online and using social media, making time to spend with your children is becoming very important. Planning quality time and activities…
If you're like me you cannot live without headphones. I use them practically all day long. It's part habit, part practicality, and part comfort. Headphones help me concentrate on whatever it is I'm doing without hearing everything else that is going on. Even though it is best to know what is going on…
I'm finishing up my book on birth stories and have decided I want to increase the size. In order to do this I need to have more child labor stories. My book basically focuses on the wonderful yet…Continue
Share a little something about yourself with other moms.
I’m a freelance writer, journalist and blogger. I also just so happen to own a barber/beauty salon with my husband in Ohio. I don’t claim to be a hairstylist, but I’m surrounded by them and this industry of hair just about everyday. So I’m taking the inside stories, the news, the tips and all those do’s and don’ts and bringing them to the Multi Beautiful Hair blog. But it doesn’t stop with hair, who knows what may pop up on these pages. Stay-tuned to find out!
I have written for several different online magazines and websites and now I’m finishing up my first book. I’m working on developing a time management and goal setting series. What better way than to share what I know and continue to learn than on Schedule Your Time Wisely. Through my writing we will have a more personable approach. I want to provide real situations and present truths as I’ve seen them. The added benefit of this is to show others through example ways to help maneuver through the process of becoming more efficient and getting more tasks done throughout your day. My purpose is to help you help yourself. Together we can accomplish anything. This is Tomica giving you the truth as I know it and if I don’t know, I’ll find out!
What is your blogging philosophy?
Blogging is a sharing experience. You create life within the pages of your blog.

Hi there. Time is precious to us all, I know. But, if you're a petite woman & would love to read great articles about the best things that come in small packages or even know someone also that would ~ come on over for a visit and stay a spell ... we'd love to have you.
Great! Simply said, I write a blog post for you, and you write one for me! We then publish them on our blogs with a link to the other's website. That should be simple enough since we have the same subject :) Let me know if there is any specific topic you'd like covered on your blog. For me, hospital birth-related info, VBAC, and so on is best, as I have only had homebirths so can't speak from experience there!
Hey, Tomica, would you be interested in exchanging guest blogs, because I have a birth blog too? I loved the labor tips you gave on your website, and think something like that is a great thing coming from a mom of many! I could write something homebirth-related for your site if you like, and we could exchange links?
Let me know if you're interested! I'm following your birth story book developments!
