In this day and age, where children and their parents tend to be quite disconnected from each other, either because the parents work long hours or the children spend more and more time online and using social media, making time to spend with your children is becoming very important. If you're like me you cannot live without headphones. I use them practically all day long. It's part habit, part practicality, and part comfort. Headphones help me concentrate on whatever it is I'm doing without hearing everything else that is going on. Even though it is best to know what is going on…

Hi there from The Girlz Korner in upstate New York where you'll find light, witty and rather entertaining articles on every topic imaginable from The Little Black Dress to Making Whoopie. So if you get a chance to kick back and exhale, if only for a brief moment ... come on over and see me some time.

Then I realized that the toilet had a small leak, so now I have to go back to the hardware store.
It sure is, especially when you're doing it alone. I tried to enlist the family to help me today to make it go a little faster. My six year old was the most help, if you can believe it.I've been working on this bathroom since August, but work, school, and family kept getting in the way. By the end of week, it'll be open for business. I'll stop by your blog too and follow. Hope you'll do the same for me. Your picture is great, by the way.
