Wishing you all the best for the coming year, may your 2009 be fine! According to the definition of "fine" I hope that you feel that everything in your life is... of superior quality, skill or appearance. I wish that you enjoy fine health this year.

Just wanted to address MBC as a whole and say Happy New Year to everyone!
Looking forward to 2009, hoping for an upgrade from '08.
I am thankful for all of the friendships I've developed here.

When was the last time someone took a couple of hours out of their schedule to help you with a problem? Someone you haven't even met yet? I met a man last night that did just that. His name is Beef, and he is the CEO at Community Marketing
University 7 in 1 program.
I know it has been long time it has happened for me. And it made me realize one thing right then and there, the TRUE MEANING of networking. It isn't just passing information about yourself, your business or your sales… Continue

I spent the entire day yesterday updating my template. Of course, now that I know all the little tricks, I could probably do it all in less than an hour.
Hope the new look goes with my writing!

A few weeks ago the smack-down happened; I was minding my own business when suddenly my throat decided it was time to set itself on fire. Hmmm, I thought to myself, I wonder if this is the result of my son sneezing directly in my face while I was flossing his teeth? Probably, I surmise, since the smell of his infected tonsils wasn't successful in knocking me out initially, I guess The Cold thought it would give it a try. So, I got sick. Does this day sound familiar?

Let's face it.
You probably will not become a millionaire by blogging.
But, it wouldn't be too bad to pay for a domain name by doing it.
Here are 5 things to keep in mind about advertising on your blog.
1. If your primary intent in blogging is to advertise and make money, don't do it.
Your primary intent for blogging should be to write. When bloggers get focused on the money aspect it is obvious to the readers. Nothing can cheapen your site more or… Continue

Over the past 2-3 months my pants have slowly grown tighter. I step on the scale and I see my numbers go up. I am helpless when it comes to the holidays. It's the food. My god the delicious, wonderful, butter filled, sugar coated, fat saturated, food. I love it all. From the turkey on Thanksgiving to the shrimp on New Years Eve I am someone who always partakes in ALL of the holiday feasts. It's not only the food that gets me, it's also the drinks. I enjoy the dark stouts, egg nogs, and… Continue

I know we've all seen the "free" credit report advertisements. Usually you get it free for a month, and if you don't cancel, you find a charge of $14.95 on your credit card. I just came across this neat website that offers you a chance to see your credit score for free without even having to post a credit card or debit card! It's called Credit Karma.… Continue

How do I know I need to do this? Well, probably because I am usually the only one there pushing a cart through the mercilessly skinny aisles, filled with milk, trash bags and hemorrhoid cream, with two kids grabbing every other clothing item they see and throwing them on the floor. I get Jr. High School-worthy scowls and rolling eyes from teenagers every time, but, I don’t care...much. And truly, when I have the guts to venture in, I never find much.
Of course I am not interested in… Continue

I'm EXHAUSTED today. I really have to start going to bed earlier. I tell myself that all the time, but for some reason, it never happens. Normal bedtime for me during the week has been between 11:30 pm and midnight. That wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for my alarm going off at 6 am the next morning.
I don't WAKE UP at 6 am, but that's when the alarm goes off. I'm one of those snooze button junkies.
If I have to shower I hit snooze once or twice, but if I don't have to… Continue

I have been wanting to get out of the house so I decided to slice my index finger open and let it bleed all over the kitchen towel, the sink, the knife...it took me a few seconds to get my first aid kid open.
Yup. I am a moron.
Despite firm pressure on gobs of gauze and holding my finger higher than my heart...it kept bleeding. At least I missed an artery. Snort.
I let 17yo rewrap finger....it kept bleeding through.
I looked over at spouse and said,… Continue

This afternoon after church, I found that most of us were sitting on our couch with our computers. As I looked over to Luke, who was also typing on his computer, I thought about how fast Christmas vacation went by for him but for me also. He desires to go back to school a few days early so that he can work at his job. Why? He may be asking a special girl for her hand in marriage and he would like to save for her engagement ring. Can you believe that this little boy who named himself "Pastor… Continue

You guessed it, it's beyond time to buy bras!!
There are a few things that I am known for, a really good lasagna, a cleft in my chin, mad dancing skillz, big Texas hair and bigger boobs! I once had a lesbian flick me on the boob and accuse me of having implants! Yeah right! If these were implants, I'd sue that surgeon and be blogging from my luxurious vacation home.
I finally decided to break down and go purchase new bras. You would think that buying brassieres would be a… Continue

No matter how much I tried, I have never quite fit into any group from elementary school to the present.
I was considered to be in middle level in high school(in the Midwest). You know, not a complete loser but not on student council either. I never wanted to be on student council. I did try out to be a cheerleader in junior high. This is pretty funny since I lack grace and coordination on land. I must have been overwhelmed with delusions of being popular in the 8th grade. LOL. The… Continue
