How To Improve Your Sanity During the Covid Crisis

It’s unbelievable. While it seemed that life was about to finally get back to normal with the gradual opening of states, all of a sudden an uptick in COVID-19 cases has hit the country like a tidal wave. While many governors have vowed not to completely shut down states again many are still not fully opened. And, to…

Never fear,…

I love my Christmas socks

An apology to my family: I know I am a pain to buy gifts for. Sorry about that.

But, I can say that it is probably my Mom's fault.

Every year my devoted and wonderful husband…

Judging Me as a Mom Does Not Make You Right

I was not going to write about this but the more time I spend thinking about it, the more I have to get it off my chest. Because sometimes, you just have to speak up. I have to say, Judging Me as a Mom Does Not Make You Right!

Last night I put a status on my Facebook page about the toys my kids had taken away for spending over 2 hours rejecting my request that they lay their…

Shaping Up

I am sure that there are many of you who are looking to live a healthier lifestyle in 2015, at least that’s what statistics seem to show.  So I thought I’d gather together a few resources for you that I have found helpful.  I’m not an expert and whatever you choose to do or not to do is totally up to you and what fits for your lifestyle, personality, and enjoyment.  I had babies in 2010, 2011, and 2014 and while I’m no supermodel by any stretch of the imagination, I’m relatively healthy and…

I have to say that when I checked to see what our most popular posts were in 2014 to make a Top Ten Posts list, it was interesting to see what people were relating to the most. Playing With Trains! Train Activities for Kids

How often have you gone into a doctor’s office, toy or book store and saw a train table set up for the kids? Are you the parent that secretly groans when you see the train table because you realize how difficult it will be to peel your child away? Over the years, many play time and therapy hours have been spent at the train table. While it can be challenging to find ways to connect while the trains seem to suck every ounce of attention from the child it is well worth the effort. There are…

The Week After Christmas Drives Me Crazy

I love Christmas. And I actually can’t believe that it’s already over. Does anyone else feel like the time between October 1 and today went WAY too fast?

Christmas came and went in the blink of an eye. I got myself so wrapped up in everything that we had going on, I feel like I missed out on something – even though I probably didn’t. Life just moves too fast these days.

This was the first year that Ricky really “got” the whole Santa concept. And it was seriously amazing. Rick…

Baby's Second Christmas

I know it's late, but this year was Jackson's second Christmas. I can't believe how big he is getting. He is at the age that is hard to shop for. He doesn't play with the little baby toys anymore, but he is still too young for some of the other toys out there. There wasn't a huge selection for his age right now. Santa got him a wooden train set table, which he does't really know how to play with yet, he just slaps all the pieces around because he is a destructive little boy who likes noise.…

Don't worry, Mom. I'm fine.

When I was a teenager and living with my Mom, I felt very responsible. She worked long hours and I was frequently home alone. I cooked, cleaned, was a good student and never gave her much reason to worry about me.

But, she is my Mom. So, I am sure that she did worry about me. But more on that in a…

সব জায়গায় একতার চিন্তা করা উচিত না (We shouldn't want unity everywhere)

(English version has given bellow)
