When I started blogging on my own blog the only way I knew to make money from it , was google adsense and because this was so easy to implement I didn’t believe in anything else.

Then when I heard of other people making $10 to $24 a sale and more – I started researching  and found out some nice methods to make some money with a blog.

They are three main methods for making  a good amount of money rather than the 5 cents 10 cents  you get from google adsense

These three are mainly

  1. Affiliate Promotions
  2. Your own eBook
  3. Selling banners/ads or sponsored posts

Affiliate commissions

This method is very powerful and you can scale you income if you know how to do it properly. Affiliate programs can earn a extra money and even a full-time income from home

Here are some affiliate networks

  • Peerfly. ...
  • Rakuten Affiliate Network. ...
  • eBay's Partner Network. ...
  • eBay has two primary benefits. ...
  • Neverblue. ...
  • Clickbank. ...
  • iTunes Affiliates. ...
  • Amazon Associates

How do I start an affiliate marketing business?

what you need to do:

  1. Choose your niche.
  2. Research different affiliate programs and products.
  3. Build a site.
  4. Produce excellent content.
  5. Build an audience.
  6. Promote your affiliate product(s).
  7. Repeat steps #4–7 on a continual basis!

Your own ebook

This takes time and effort not only to write and publish it, but also to market it and keep people interest by making new updated versions of your book. If you market your book right, you can make a lot of money. Launch is important

Here is the steps you need to get this off the ground

  1. Step 1: Creating your eBook.
  2. Step 2: Formatting the eBook.
  3. Step 3: Proof reading.
  4. Step 4: Get a cover that sells your eBook.
  5. Step 5: Converting your eBook.
  6. Step 6: Adding your eBook to your website with Selz.
  7. Step 7: Promoting your eBook.
  8. Step 8: Keep track of your sales.

Your ebook needs to be short, specific, and incredibly useful to your audience. That means you’re looking for a topic that:

  • You can cover in 3,000 – 4,500 words (around six blog posts in length).
  • You can make clear, concise and compelling. “Ten Great Gardening Tips” isn’t as focused as “Ten Ways to Grow Better Broccoli”.
  • Your readers are clamouring for. Think about questions that come up constantly in the comment section of your blog or problems that all your clients seem to have.

If you’re stuck for an idea, head to Facebook or Twitter and ask your audience, “What’s your biggest struggle with [topic]?” Look for any common factors in the answers.

Selling banners/sponsored posts

If you manage to get a lot of traffic to your blog then offers will come and you will earn money.

One of the most popular ways to make money from blogging, yet one that is not talked about very openly, is sponsored posts. Particularly sponsored posts with the main goal of getting a link from your blog to a client.

What is sponsored content?

Sponsored content is content that you produce that’s paid for by a brand. You might be promoting a product or a service. It can be a great way to make money by talking about brands that you already know and love.

Very often a blogger reviews products related to his niche on his blog and makes no money from the review. In a sponsored review, the blogger is paid for his posted review.

While these three methods on its own can earn you massive income if done right,  together they can earn you a solid income as well.

The main thing binding all of these three factors to work is the traffic you get to your blog and the products you are promoting. They both should be related to your niche only then will you succeed.

Good luck
