School’s out and summer is here!
But, how are you going to keep your kids entertained this summer?
Problem solved.

Below are 10 simple ways to keep your kids entertained over the summer.

- Head to your local Dollar Tree and stock up on summer fun staples including bubbles, sidewalk chalk, kites, pool floats, coloring books, etc. Don’t forget to grab a tote-able container to store your summer fun goods in! So, that no matter where you are headed, you can grab your container and go - to the pool, the backyard, the beach, or Grandma’s.

- Search “summer fun” websites for ideas, such as Miffy Fun. Miffy Fun offers step-by-step, outdoor ideas to keep your kids entertained such as Miffy “Hippity Hopscotch”. All you have to do is grab your summer fun tote (with sidewalk chalk) and head outdoors!

- Check your local calendar of events or Groupon for local staycation activities such as family kite festivals, movies at the pool, and free local sporting events. Make it an adventure by riding your bikes, walking, or taking public transportation.

- While you are at Dollar Tree, don’t forget to grab a few grade appropriate activity books to keep your children on their educational toes. You don’t want them to return to school, enter into a new grade, and forget what they previously learned. So, keep them sharp with Educational Activity Books in Language Arts, Reading, and Math. Not going out to Dollar Tree? Well, how about ordering a subscription from Zoobooks?

- Work with your children to create a summer bucket list. This alone will give you all the ideas you need to create an entertaining and memorable summer!
