Everyone has something they are fighting. So be kind always. Good advice right? But does that mean we need to excuse rude and bullish behavior?
Nope. Don’t get me wrong, I know when people are sick, troubled, going through a divorce etc. that they may lash out at friends and family. We need to be understanding and loving. BUT. They also need to be held accountable for rotten attitudes. All of us do.
There is a time and place to have your meltdowns. And you need your support group around you. However your friends and family need a warning before you have your nervous breakdown. That way they are ready to be in support mode.
If you just flip out on people their first response is defense. They want to lash back at you. No support comes from that and you’ve created more drama. But if you let them know you need to vent, scream, cry then give a heads up!
I only write this out of love. Cause honestly if one more person is rude, obnoxious, hateful or just plain bitchy, I might have to go all ninja on said people. Seems I know a lot of people who are “fighting something”.
I think we are in a world right now where everyone feels entitled to treat others badly. No one respects others anymore and at the same time we are all way to easily offended. Everyone has their opinion and others don’t matter.
People, get your shit together. Have a cocktail and figure out your purpose. The rest of us are over it.
Sincerely,
A Concerned Human
