Blogging Can Be Grueling. How Do You Unwind?


Blogging can take a lot out of moms especially as we juggle so much in our daily lives. How do you unwind from a busy day that includes blogging and staying connected on social media sites?

How many hours do you spend blogging each week? How many giveaways to you run a month? How much time do you spend connecting on social media sites each day? How often do you travel on junkets? How much to you travel to conferences? We bet it adds up to quite a bit.

To really unwind make sure you get enough rest at night. We learned long ago. It is so easy to stay up and blog and connect on social media, but that won't help you in the long run. Definitely rest!

Also, be sure to exercise and get fresh air. That may mean taking a quick walk or run or going to the gym to get 30 minutes in on the treadmill.

It's also very crucial to step away from your computer and phone for a few hours every day. Turn off notifications and go about life as usual without the distractions. It's good for your soul.

I take daily walks to unwind. I haven't blogged in a while. I'm trying to get back into it, but I burt myself out. So pace yourself and go outside :)

Whew, it can be tough. I work outside of the home full time as well. So, I unwind from it all by listening to music, working out, and laughing with my family.
