Hubby sliced his thumb open last night prepping ears of corn to throw on the grill. He cut it at an angle from the top down through the middle of his thumb nail.

He called me after he did it and I was still 45 minutes from getting home after picking up both the kids. He’s so hard headed, I knew he was going to resist going to the emergency room – which is why he now has a deep Harry Potter style scar dead square between his eyes after refusing to get stitches from busting it open last winter. He messaged me a few photos of the sink full of blood and his thumb, I will be so kind to spare you guys the photos since I know not everyone can handle it. It was still bleeding when I got home and he agreed to go to the ER...
