Happy Monday from South Carolina. I am a Maryland girl living in a South Carolina world now :)

I came down for school and I ended up staying. I met my now husband when I was 20 yrs old. We got married when I was 22. We were friends a while before we dated. We had a blast, he was my best friend. Still is. We decided at the last moment to elope. All the planning, the larger the number of guests to invite got my quiet self nervous haha. No one was really surprised but my mom was a little heated about it. Anyway, getting to the mommy beginnings...

We had our first child a few months before our 4 yr wedding anniversary. We found out in January of 2011 about my pregnancy. We were shocked & in awe. I wasn't sure if I could have kids & we weren't actively trying yet. When my daughter was born on a beautiful fall evening in September, she was the most gorgeous miracle. It was a long labor but in the end worth every minute.

Fast forward to March of 2012, I got a call about my fathers death. He didn't have much involvement in my childhood but we reconnected in my late teens, early adulthood, & we kept in touch. I was more the role of taking care of him from a distance, but I learned I had to grow up at a too young age. It was devasting to get that call & that debilitating news. It put me in a very depressed stated for months. I actually found in May I miscarried. I went on a different birth control & wanted to wait a little longer before trying again. Then another surprise..but this time a good one.

The day before my daughters 1st birthday I went in for a birth control check & they congratulated me on a new pregnancy. I was, needless to say, surprised but knew this baby was a sign. My second daughter was born May 2013. She was a surprise to everyone weighing in at 10lbs.

My husband, my two lovely girls, with our silly pup Winston (my son), & my cat Sullivan (my other son) make up my amazing family of six!!! My oldest will be 5 this yr and my youngest will be 3. Its been a wild ride so far, some days better then other. And of course, we have had those days where we wish we could just hide under the covers from it all...but we have loved this beautiful chaos.
