How Moms Strengthen Their Hair Strands In Three Steps

Mom Hair Syndrome

Like the rest of you, your hair is unique, and if you are a mom, your hair is probably in more trouble than the rest of us. You may have thin, thick, curly, wavy, blonde, black, or brown hair. The fantastic thing is that there are so many ways that you can change your hair. You can color your hair with dye, you can cut your hair, and you can get your hair permanently straightened or curled. What if you are losing your hair? Is there a system that you can use to regrow or maintain your hair? The truth is that there are a few steps that you can take to get your hair growing.

#1 See a Dermatologist

Your hair goes through a complicated process to grow, in particular after having a baby. There are various reasons why you may be losing your hair. It could be due to pattern baldness, or it could also be due to an illness. First and foremost, you want to rule out any internal sickness that may need to be medically treated. Once you figure out the cause of your hair loss, you are in a better position to take care of it.

#2 Stop Hair Loss

Your hair goes through three separate phases as it grows. These phases are called Anagen, Catagen, and Telogen. In the Anagen phase of a hair follicle, your hair has a deep connection to blood vessels in the scalp, and it grows at the rate of one centimeter per month. This is a phase that can last anywhere from two to six years. In the Catagen phase of the hair follicle, the hair strand is in a transitional stage. As the follicle cuts itself off from the scalp’s blood supply, it begins to renew itself and regrow. In the Telogen phase of hair growth, your hair follicle goes dormant. Don't worry too much! it can all be fixed and stressing about it will add more to your already busy routine.

When this happens to too many hair follicles, you will begin to lose your hair. To stop the strands from leaving your scalp at a fast rate, you want to use a DHT-blocking shampoo and conditioner. Dihydrotestosterone or DHT is a hormone that causes hair loss. When the DHT is blocked, your hair can grow freely. Hair follicles that may have gone dormant at one time begin to regrow. You must stop the process of hair loss before you can start to regrow your hair.

#3 Stimulate Hair Growth

Once you have stopped hair loss, it is time for you to begin the process of hair regrowth. The great thing is that you have several options for stimulating your scalp to promote hair growth. One excellent choice is a  hair regrowth laser cap. This is a cap that has Low-Level Light therapy lasers. This therapy gently stimulates hair follicles and helps them to maintain their regular growth cycle. There are hundreds of people who have found great benefits in these caps, which can be affordable. Another option is supplements. Some high-quality supplements such as biotin, collagen, and DHT are blocking vitamins that promote hair growth. Essential oils can also be a great option.

Essential oils such as mint have been proven to stimulate blood flow, so rubbing this essential oil into the scalp can stimulate hair growth. Oil of Oregano has also been hailed as an excellent vitamin for hair growth as well. This essential oil has excellent properties when it comes to fighting off bacteria and fungus. When applied to the scalp with olive oil or coconut oil, it can be highly effective in rejuvenating and cleansing the scalp. Oil of Oregano should never be used directly onto the scalp. Please note that these are all suggestions, and you should always consult your doctor before trying anything that could harm your health.

Hair loss can be frustrating, but it does not have to be the end of your story, moms are resilient and daring, you can deal this. Like with other aspects of your hair, your hair’s growth can be in your power. The previous strategy has worked for hundreds of people, and there is no doubt that it will work for you as well. You may have to input your preferences regarding what you use, but the method will succeed as long as you are persistent and determined. You can win the fight against hair loss.
