Toys are considered to be the treasure for a child. Toys are like everything for them. Whenever they go to the market or any mall, children’s use to ask us to buy new toys and when we talk about their old they says that they has gone old and most of them are already broken. Since playing toys are of great importance in child growth, we must choose the toys as per the baby’s ability. There are certain points that must be followed in order to buy toys for new born babies.

Age–appropriate toys:-  at the time of purchasing any toys, you will see that the age is mentioned. You can refer to that at the time of purchasing toys for the babies. Most of the time these age recommendations doesn’t work but still you can give it a try. You can even use your own mind in order to buy toys. For a new born baby, soft toys that don’t have any hard corners are the best toys because they won’t hurt them while playing. Make sure that they are not small in size because children’s may put in mouth and that may choke them.

Good quality toys:-  At the time of purchasing, we must make sure that the toys of good quality. This will ensure that the baby won’t get hurt at the time of playing. Old toys usually are worn out and thus may cause the baby to choke or may lead to some other danger situation. Newborn toys should always be of good quality. Four year old toys are usually worn or broken and thus they may hut the baby.

Think big:-  unless and until the baby turns at least 3 years of age, you must make sure that the toys are bigger in size so that the baby may not swallow it. The parts of the toys must be bigger in size and if the toy needs assembling, they must be tight and bigger. This will help in getting rid of choking.

Baby is ready for that toy:-  A puzzle is never a good toy for a new born baby because it won’t understand or will be able to play with that toy. So always understand that toys must be according to the age of the baby.
