  • You can also do creative experiments with temperature. What you can do is you can try having a jug of water in fridge. You can add up ice-cubes or even warm water during the winter.

Water is the finest choice to keep your kids hydrated throughout the day. It is true that water contains no extra energy and can satisfy your thirst. Other types of fluids such as juice, milk and sweetened drinks can also play a role to your child’s fluid intake. Play games with them

Yes, it is also a great thing to do. You can play water related games with them.  For example, you can tell them to finish this or that much of water every single day. And who does it, would get a candy or any other incentive at night. Initially it might sound like bribing but it is not. The secret is that once your kids would get used to consuming water regularly, they will develop a habit and won’t ask for incentives in near future.  Once they would have it from within that they want water, they would drink it.

Similarly you can also play another game. You can tell them to choose a cup and let’s find out what you have inn it for you. In this way they might find it interesting and start drinking water. In some cups, don’t keep anything. In some cups, keep water and in others put different juices or beverages. In this way they would have a great experience. They would start loving the excitement and the satisfaction once they find their cup full of water and not empty. Certainly you can bring a clever angle in this too. What you can do is you can start increasing the size of cups you play with. In this way they would not even realise and intake a good amount of water.
