I am sitting in my living room listening to the wind whip everything that isn't nailed down around. I really hope nothing goes through our living room windows!lol.
Dare I say winter is upon us and the warm weather is just a memory that will have to keep us warm for the next five months.
All summer you hear people complaining about how hot it is, how unbearable the heat is, blah blah blah. Now the cold has arrived and a new wimper will be heard around Alberta. "It's too cold, is it summer yet? I can't wait for summer to be here!"
I remember 2 years ago, halloween night stomping through the snow with the kids in their costumes that no one could see due to the winter jackets, boots, gloves and hats. My husband and I clinging to our travel mugs full of steaming hot coffee, wishing we were anywhere but out in the cold.
It always amazes me how kids just don't feel the cold! That halloween was horrible for us but the kids loved it! There were so few kids out that everyone was giving candy out by the handful.
I fear that this could be another snowy halloween. I shiver just thinking about it!
