Martha Byrne on As the World Turns: Mom, Singer, Actress- How does she do it?

Did you ever feel like you were living in a soap opera? Consider all of the drama that surrounds your life, both personally and professionally. Perhaps it’s an office romance or a steamy suburban sex-capade. Stories such as these allow us to escape from the monotony of life, if only for a moment.

Butterfly’s December “Mom Mentor,” Martha Byrne, lives this soap opera on screen in the hit CBS Daytime Drama “As The World Turns.” Martha first portrayed the character of Lily Snyder in 1985 and continues today to reprise that award-winning role.  Add movies, music and motherhood to her credits and you have one inspiring woman!

In an exclusive interview with Butterfly, Martha reveals that she starting acting at the age of ten in the Broadway hit, “Annie!” Watch her video as shares her journey in performing and parenting.
