My Fuzzy Love Valentine Heart Craft
materials needed:
- Blank White Canvas
- Hot Glue Gun
- Hot Glue sticks
- paint, red and pink
- paintbrushes
- black sharpie marker
- 2 packs of fuzzy balls (pink, red, and white colors)
- Construction paper
getting started:
Fold your sheet of construction paper in two and cut out a half heart from it
Once you unfold the paper, you should have a perfectly proportioned heart
Lay your paper heart on top of the blank canvas and trace it
Lightly sketch any extra designs you like to have for your picture - we went with wavy lines
Next paint the designs and allow them time to dry before moving on
Insert one of the glue sticks into the glue gun and plug it up
Be sure to keep the glue gun away from small children because it can get very HOT!
Open your packages of fuzzy balls and have them within reach
When your hot glue gun is ready, squeeze a small amount onto the traced heart
Immediately cover with a fuzzy ball
You only need a little dab of glue, a little goes a long way
Continue in this manner until you've completely covered your heart
Write in any "sweet" words and admire your artwork
tips:
Gently press the fuzzy balls when applying to avoid flattening them
You can use multiple fuzzy ball colors or just one color. They both will have gorgeous results!
Like what you see?! There's much more!
