December is coming to an end in a matter of days. I never thought this year 2015 would be my most active year, in terms of traveling. Ever since I retired in February this year, I have been "on the move"... on the roads, on the planes. In March, it was an unplanned trip to Adelaide with my daughter and siblings, we spent a week there moving about on our own, it was a free and easy trip. Come May, I flew to Sacramento via San Francisco for a two months holiday. This was also a relaxing trip, spending some days at the ranch and a couple of weeks going out of town. And my third overseas trip was in October, my friend and I went to Aberdeen, Scotland for ten days and another ten days to four places in Europe. That was quite an adventure, I would say.....
Three oversea trips in a year, it was kind of unbelievable for me, I never expect to travel so much in a matter of months in a year. Each time I came home, my friends would "bombard" me with questions, "hey, you are really loaded... you really spent a lot.... how much did you spend this time? Where would you go next?" etc... etc... Well, what I could say is I am really thankful to my God for blessing me with these trips and provisions. As for finances, I am also thankful that I did not really spend a lot for these three trips. Being an avid traveler on an off, I have learn how to budget myself. I spend within my limits and wisely.
