On a search for the perfect sunscreen
So this week a friend of mine sent me this website http://www.ewg.org/2010sunscreen/
Its a website that rates sunscreens and tells you how healthy/harmful they are for you and your little ones. When searching for the sunscreens that I use on my little ones I found out that they are all rated 7's (1-best, 10-worst) WOW! Here I thought I was doing something good for my kids and come to find out I could actually be harming them.
So now I am on the search for the perfect sunscreen. Well you might say, just go to the list and find the best one and get that. That might be great if I only had to put it on one kid and the bottle was going to last forever, but with 4 littles to put it on we go through a lot of sunscreen. The ones that are listed as the best are usually the really expensive ones.
I just find it so frustrating that you think you are doing something good for you kids and then they come out and say that you could actually be doing more harm then good.
So I am curious....anyone else have this issue or am I the only one? Have you found the "perfect" sunscreen?
