Yes, I know it’s July and Christmas is still more than 5 months away, but this will be a massive project so Lala and I had best get started soon.  Last December, we counted down the days until Christmas with the same Advent calendar that Lala had made when I was not yet two.  And we had the same problem that we’d had most of my childhood, each kid thought it should be their turn everyday.  So Lala and I kicked around the idea of an extra large Advent calendar with enough pieces that all four kids could put a piece up every day.  For those of you not inclined to do the math, that’s an Advent calendar with 96 pieces on it.  Hence the need to get started in July to have it done by the first of December.
