Glue

Pour the 1/2 cup of warm water into the glue. You can use less. This is where it gets fun to play around with the amounts and how it changes the consistency. Keep the conversation, and laughs going with the kids.

Once the water is in, you can now add the Borax solution. You can see in the picture below, it immediately starts blobbing. Colin was not all for putting his hands in there. I ended up putting the camera down for a minute and smooshing him in there. Problem, solved.

Mix it

After a minute we had slime! Colin was thrilled! He played around with it for awhile, and Alex finally decided to join. You can see by their faces how much they enjoyed it. I only wish I had taken video so you could have heard their laughter. We ended up storing it in a Ziploc bag for another day.

Time for Fun!

This is a super easy activity to do with your kids. While we wait for all of this snow to melt in New England, why not make some slime??
