Staying in shape as a stay at home mom

It’s very hard to lose weight when you’re a stay at home mom. The attempt to crush in exercise while remaining at home to bring up the children isn’t simple. Even the best-laid plans can get flop for any number of reasons. But still, it needs to be realized that self-care is really important so such moms need to get some activity in, even on the busiest day.

Dance break with your child

You need to find an hour for yourself and find out exceptionally inventive methods for remaining active. One of the best ways to lose weight is by dancing at home. Enjoy Thrive experience through a dance break with your child on Disney movie songs. In this way, you can burn calories as well as enjoy a happy hour with your child. You can do exercise with babies, toddlers and teens, it’s always easy to involve all of them in the easy exercise, they will always have fun participating in the workouts.

Wear workout clothes all day

One motivation to do exercise at home is wearing your workout clothes all day. Wearing your workout clothes is a reminder to get some kind of exercise in, no matter how short. You don’t exercise to be skinny or to be in shape or whatever. You exercise to stay fit, healthy and. No exercise = no time to think = trouble sleeping = stressed out mommy = unhappy kids = bad. If you can’t afford a babysitter, you do a yoga video during nap time.

Say no to junk

Avoid boredom eating. Keep a sheet of paper on the fridge, tall glasses of water and write down the calories. Do not open the fridge without seeing it and half the time it stops you from boredom eating.

Do clean eating

Plan your meals. You have to cook for yourself. If you are planning to eat heavy steak at night then you need to have your breakfast and lunch accordingly. The calorie count is really important.

Clean your bedroom yourself; it’s a good body move

Make a habit of cleaning at least one portion of the house yourself. If there is a maid who cleans your house, ask her to clean the whole house except the one-bedroom. Wear your casual clothes, turn on your speakers, do broom, dry clean yourself.

Stair climbing

If you don’t have time to go to the gym, climb stairs. It helps you burn more calories every minute as compared to jogging. Climbing stairs is a great form of cardio exercise. While climbing stairs, you work against gravity lifting your entire body. This activity strengthens your leg muscles making it a rather strenuous exercise.

Drink 8 glasses of warm water

Drink 2 large glasses with breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the minimum and more if you are thirsty or hungry. They will fill you up and you won’t eat so much.

Conclusion

In order to remain fit, make a daily schedule in which you follow the above tips. Your goal should be to do some type of exercise every day. Exercise should be a regular part of your day, like brushing your teeth, eating, and sleeping. It can be by riding a bicycle with your kids, doing dance, yoga, climbing stairs, etc. You need to stay positive and have fun
