Not every kid goes to summer camp, I sure didn't when I was younger but I was dead-set on sending Serenity to one. She is a ball of energy and her batteries don't expire for a very very long time...too long to prevent me from losing my mind. So summer camp is a must! She needs the activity and I need the peace...doesn't every mom really? Over the weekend we set out to an open house at a cute little place about 30 mins from our house. It sits in a quiet wooded space far from the bustling city life. It is charming and they have a ton for the kids to do. I wrote more about it and added some photos in my blog, the link is below.
