A month after Matt left our marriage, while my heart was still so fagile, a friend states away sent me a sweet little box of sunshine.. Remember?

Only a week after my sister ended her relationship with her partner of over 12 years, I too found reason to put together a box of sunshine. I know the break up was not easy and my sisters feelings and emotions are falling with the full responsibility of her new role of being a single parent and sole provider for their 4 children so I just wanted to brighten her spirits a little.

I did this by filling a box (Just as Katherine did for me) with all the yellow things I could find..

In the box was a packet of tissues, three nail polishes, lip balm, body scrub, a push pop, a packet of M&M's, a notebook, a journal, a packet of lipton tea, two ribbon hair ties and two dress-tops. You know.. the kind where you wear leggings under?

My sister and I have never been close. There have times were each of us have been there for each other but for the most part we live completely seperate and different lifestyles.

But I felt lead to reach out to her last Thursday..

To say I love and I care for her..

To say that no matter what, I'm always your sister..

And I did!
