The benefits of computer use on children’s learning are well documented. We realize that basic computer literacy is an integral part of an important skillset for kids as young as preschool age and a growing range of classes or homeschooling parents are including some type of computer education to their curricula. Many go so far as teaching basic programming, but 3D modeling can be intimidating to teachers without advanced computer history. However, with the 3D producing revolution completely swing and mounting information indicating the cognitive benefits of spatial training, keeping two-dimensional approaches to computer education might mean kids are slipping behind the technology curve.

Can 3D Modeling Charm to Children?
Children face 3D from the earliest era through models and special effects used in movies and TV shows employing computer design. From transformers to fire-breathing dragons, 3D is "cool" and recreating their heroes in 3D presents a thrilling creative outlet for children, limited only by their thoughts.


Research indicates that strong spatial thinking, an art essential for creating 3d objects, is directly linked to success in science, technology, anatomist and mathematics, collectively known as the STEM disciplines. Job Ability, a groundbreaking study following over 400,000 American students found a rigorous link between high school students with a solid spatial orientation and their likelihood to major in STEM disciplines[1]. Other studies support this finding, showing that spatial thinkers will be interested and successful in STEM-oriented education[2]. And the data is even more engaging as it pertains to the ability to promote and improve 3D thinking and spatial performance. Participating in Tetris, for occasion, was proven to business lead to substantial advancements in spatial thinking, even translating into a better ability to create 3D models from 2D drawings[3]. Creating 3D items over a computer will probably enhance such advancements and promote spatial understanding even more. This is good news for teachers, because it implies that spatial thinking can be taught and improved through practice.


Why 3D modeling?
3D modeling impacts many aspects of our lives - so many things we see all around us have been either programmed or designed in a 3D program. With this workshop, sought the kids to see the likelihood of 3D design and hoped to spark a pastime towards digital occupations in young imagination. I think I may have managed!


A Future Career Path
As though boosting creativity and spatial cleverness wasn’t enough, an additional good thing about 3D modeling knowledge is the job path it opens. Companies over the board have a need for 3D designers for a number of projects including 3D animation or 3D graphical design and the demand is expected to continue growing. Furthermore, 3D design is a required precursor to the presently omnipresent strategy of 3D stamping. Rapid prototyping is utilized in almost every industry to check designs before they go into development and can be applied to anything from a piece of furniture to a medical device.
