I LOVE this time of year!

Is it because of all the lights and decorations? No.
Is it because everyone seems just a little happier during the Christmas season? No.
Is it because of festive parties, friends, family, good food and holiday cheer? No.

I do really like all of those things, but the reason I LOVE this time of year is because of the Claus Threat. You know the threat that goes like this..

If you don't eat those veggies you're probably going on the naughty list, Santa's watching. Veggies gone! Oh, that room looks like it needs some work. What you don't want to do it? Okay fine I'm sure Santa won't care if you don't do what I ask you to do. Room clean. No you can't have that pack of gum. Fine cry all you want, hey have you seen my cell phone I need to call Santa. What no more tears? Oh you're fine now. Good!

Oh, it is SO beautiful! I absolutely LOVE it!! I start whipping out my secret weapon right around Thanksgiving. If the decorations are in the stores and those kids want to post a Christmas list on the fridge I say the threat is fair game. My time with the threat is so fleeting I must enjoy it all I can! Oh the power! I am drunk with Christmas cheer.
