Hello Everyone ! The school year is back in full swing ! And I am happy to report that I have started my kids in a routine of chores ! Daily, they are responsible for making their beds, getting dressed, cleaning up after they eat...Once a week they dust their room and pick up toys in their room. They each get a small allowance for doing so. I had to stop myself this morning from bringing my son's clothes downstairs for him to change before school and instead went downstairs and told him to get dressed in his room. He did it without complaining which would not have happened last year so I am proud ! It is still quite hot and feels very much like summer as we approach Labor Day Weekend. My job is going quite well as many more families have chosen an aupair as live in childcare  . I am excited and glad for this change.
