Make a list

This is essential for the forgetful mummies. You can always make a list of things to do so that you do not forget anything especially those tasks which are not part of your standard routine. You can write it on a piece of paper or put it down in the documents section in your phone.

Simplify your makeup

Always have those things in your makeup box that you need on a regular basis. There is no point in looking for a lipstick that you had last used 6 - 7 months before. This will waste your time. Again stick to cream based products so that it requires only fingers. Try to use the same product for your cheeks, eyes and lips.

Try to do as much as you can in the shower

You should not only brush your teeth but also cleanse your face, apply makeup (if required) and wash your feet with warm water in just a single visit to the washroom in the morning. This way you will save a lot of time which you can utilize it for other tasks.

Prepare your breakfast the night before

Many believe that the easiest way to save time during breakfast as a busy mom is to skip it altogether. But this is not good for your health. You can cup the fruits night before for the breakfast and get the snack bars and dried fruits in one place. Just keep the milk cartons in the top shelf of the refrigerator so that you can access it easily in the morning.

Keep enough bins at home

The concept behind this advice is that if you are able to keep a number of lightweight baskets and bins around the house then you can easily store the regular messes in them and need not spend time on organizing all the rubbish and dirt in one place.
