Now that so many of us are at home due to COVID it becomes more and more difficult to find quality, family-friendly content for our children. We don't want them on their phones and tablets all day long and your children probably know every episode of their favorite cartoons by heart by now. Media consumption is so critical right now for our children especially as we as parents can't seem to look away from the news and away from our phones. We owe it to our children to provide them as much great media content as possible as a reprieve from their homework, classes, and books.

Knowing how important this is to families worldwide, Film Rise partnered with Gathr at Home for the virtual theatrical release of Lilly's Light: The Movie. Starring Sherry Hursey (Home Improvement) as Lilly, Lilly's Light: The Movie is a 87-minute live-action musical about foster children who live in an enchanted lighthouse with Lilly, their foster mother. A foster herself, Lilly helps her children work through issues and imparts to them that "Life is Full of Possibilities".

"Lilly’s Light: The Movie is a film designed to advance pro-social and imaginative behaviors in early school-age children through developmentally appropriate life-lessons," said Dr. Gordon L. Berry, Education Consultant Professor Emeritus at the Graduate School of Education and Information Studies, UCLA. "This musical is designed to entertain, inform, and enlighten children in the six to eleven years old age ranges. It is also a concept that attempts to challenge primary grade boys and girls to get actively involved in the beauty of the language arts, through rich storytelling and adventure that is rooted in imaginative play, humor, music, and dance."

With original songs by Kenny Loggins, your children will love the simple, yet catchy songs, colorful scenery, and lessons about joy, laughter, and song to get through any difficult situation.

Timed to coincide with UN International Children's Day celebrations and National Adoption Month, the Gathr at Home theatrical release of Lilly's Light: The Movie will launch on Saturday, November 21 at 5 PM EST/ 2 PM PST.

Tickets can be purchased for $12 with proceeds going to Lilly's Fostering Hearts, a 501 (c)(3) charity that raises awareness as to the needs of displaced, fostered, and adoptable youth as well as Foster Care Counts and The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.

After the virtual release, there will be a Light House Post Movie Party that includes:

- Special Musical performance by Kenny Loggins
- Juggling Lesson for kids with Jean-Luc Martin, (Will Patchitt)
- Meet the cast
- Talk with Kids TV Expert Dr. Gordon L. Berry
