Did you know that this month is National Salad Month? I love, love, love salad and honestly could eat a salad for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Okay, maybe not for breakfast, but there would definitely be some raw vegetables somewhere on my plate.
As a Hidden Valley Ranch parent panelist I talk a lot about salads and vegetables. I am extremely partial to Hidden Valley Ranch's Original Ranch Lite. I love salads as well as dressing and sometimes I can be a little heavy-handed with dressing, so I make sure to eat the lite version as often as I can.
One of the things I love most about salads is you can put almost anything on them and know that you are not taking in excess calories. Unless you dowse your salad with a lot of cheese, dressing, and croutons a simple salad can be your best friend especially if you are on a weight-loss journey.

I eat this salad on a regular basis with either Hidden Valley Ranch dressing or their Homestyle Italian dressing which is also extremely delicious. It is just 100 calories for 2 tablespoons of dressing which I have learned is plenty to add the right touch of flavor.
