The mind of Temple Grandin is fascinating because it works very differently from most of ours.  She is a visual thinker, thinking in pictures.  Recently there was an HBO movie about her life, starring Claire Danes, that won many awards.  The movie beautifully illustrates how her mind works.  

Why does this matter? What can we learn from Temple Grandin? She is a world-famous animal scientist and Autism self-advocate. She was also named to the 2010 Time 100 list.  This is a list of the one hundred most influential people in the world.
