At 8:11pm on June 13, 2010, Adriel from the Mommyhood Memos said…: omg, sleep training! i didn't start off as i meant to... my parents were visiting from the states and we just let little levi sleep on all his adoring fans for those first few weeks. i did start the eat/wake/sleep cycle straight away but naptimes were another story. levi was going to sleep on his own from day one (awake for a few min then put himself to sleep) and that lasted for about two months. he slept through the night from about week 2 or 3 with only one wake up. it was awesome! then, started sleep training for naptimes after our trip to america when he was 7 weeks old (didn't want to do too much training only to mess him up again). from then, naptimes went well... until TEETHING at four months. threw a major wrench in everything. this last month has been SO hard to get back on track, don't even get me started. and, the 4-5month growth spruts and developmental spurts?? don't even get me started!!! :D last night he was up three times during the night and took full feeds at every single one of them. really hoping this is a GS and will go away as fast as it came on!!! Lord have mercy! :) have read babywise and like lots of it... but just not super comfortable with cio. i was totally fine with it before i had him, and now i just find it soooo hard to cope with lots and lots of crying. have "converted" to baby whisperer and i just love her stuff. BUT, i'm still learning a lot and not afraid to change my mind/stance on things if i need to as i learn/discover more. and then there's the hearing God in the midst of it part, right? wow... lots to learn!!! :)
