What is your blogging philosophy?
When I started blogging, it was just a lighthearted thing, The more I blogged, the more I realized just how therapeutic it could really be. Life isn't always lighthearted. Life is about the good and the bad, the happy and the sad. And that is what I blog about,... life, real life, the good, the bad, the happy, the sad.
I have been blogging since...
My soldier hubby, on the right front!

Hi there from The Girlz Korner in upstate New York where you'll find light, witty and rather entertaining articles on every topic imaginable from The Little Black Dress to Making Whoopie. So if you get a chance to kick back and exhale, if only for a brief moment ... come on over and see me some time.
I just found your blog and think it's great. I also noticed your husband is in the miitary and leaving soon... well, mine is currently on a deployment, so I know what you're going through. Good luck with everything and if you ever want to commiserate, let me know!
Hey, Kiki! I just happened to see your comment in the Yarn Divas group about trying to teach yourself to knit with books. Have you tried videos? There are a lot of videos on YouTube that you can search by various techniques. My favorite knitting videos are from the Knit Witch (http://www.knitwitch.com/); on the left sidebar you'll see links for both knitting and crochet videos down towards the bottom. It's really helpful to see someone performing the technique...and you can rewind over and over, or pause. :-)
I see we have something in common--we're both military wives who used to be in the military. :-) I was in the Navy; my husband still is.
Hi Kiki. I loved traveling with my family. My father was stationed in lots of wonderful places. I find it hard to settle down now in one location. But, who knows, Manassas may be the place I call home for a while.
