Liz Tenenbaum is the COO of the Tenenbaum Family LLC. Aside from raising a teenager and toddler simultaneously she is an active member of the JuniorLeague Lancaster, a Karmi volunteer at Evolution Power Yoga and a Friends trivia mastermind. She’s a modern homemaker by day and a day-dreamer by night. You can find her running on an incline in the treadmill section at the gym, perfecting her crow pose on the yoga mat or curled up on the couch watching bad chick flicks. None the less her messy handwriting, inability to craft and lack of music talent have not stopped her from trying new things. She is a Chicago girl at heart and a recent Lancaster, PA transplant. No Fail

There’s a saying my husband and I use when selecting a movie to watch at night; we call particular movies “no fail”. They are safe, a crowd pleaser and familiar. We chose these movies because we can turn them on, hopping in when we feel like it and play around on our iPad/iPhone while the movie is playing in the background. We can get up to get something to eat, go to the bathroom, check on our daughter and not worry about missing something and having to go back and rewind it. We can jump right… Continue

I see bright lights, loud music, young ladies and bright funky clothes. I am not at a night club or even a strip club for that matter but I am at Forever21. It was once a Mecca, a staple store for fun attire in my early 20’s. I would travel 25 minutes to Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg IL to wonder around this retail amusement park for hours. It was here where I found my hot Saturday night out top, a sexy little dress for clubbing or a designer rip off bag for whenever. I’d walk away with a full… Continue

I remember the exact moment my dad told me my mom had cancer. I was driving my daughter, Ada, and I to the grocery store after her swim lesson. Life seemed normal.I was snacking on my taffy with my country music hits on in the background. It was a beautiful Spring day and we were heading to the store to get groceries and pick up a prescription. My phone rang and my dad told me everything as I was trying to concentrate on the expressway with a 10-month old in the… Continue

My name is Liz and I am sugar addict. I am not your typical “oh chocolate is my life” type of person. I am a person who views candy as an essential food group. I know it seems ironic that I am so in to fitness and spend a good chunk of my time at the gym and yet I indulge in candy.

This obsession was sprung from one memory as a child. Like most boys, my brother played Little League and as the little sister I had to go along. Being the girly-girl I am I hated watching the game so my parents… Continue
