I was"late out fo the gate" so to speak, and had my son just before I turned 48. I did home care for early intervention for 16 years before an injury sidelined me. Now I'm taking my knowledge and using it on my blog to try and help moms help their babies and children. I am also about to launch a wonderful child's id bracelet and service called Kidsafe Connection.
What is your blogging philosophy?
I don't know that I have a specific philosophy. My goal is to reach as many moms as I can and be as helpful as I can. Basically to let moms know that they can do it themselves and that they are not alone.

Some people just find the season stressful. What you may not realize is that one of those unhappy persons could be your…

While there is a time range for baby development that is considered normal, if your baby does not meet those time frames, you should take action. I'll tell you why. Babies are born with billions of neurons. Not all of them are activated, and many will "die off". There is a window of opportuntiy during development that is…

Hi Nance - I'll have to get a guest post to you next week. I ran out of time today and am heading out of town for a few days.

Nancy - I'd be happy to provide a short post on Music Therapy and ADHD - I'll try to get it to you tomorrow before I head out of town for a couple of days. I wondered if you could provide some info for my parents of children with SPD and autism on easy activities they can provide to enhance sensory integration. I liked your post on July 17, but most of my parents have kiddos that are elementary school age - maybe a few tips for that age?
