Share a little something about yourself with other moms.
I am a mother of 2 fabulous kiddos, Stella and Sage. I've been married to a great guy, Scott, for the last 14 years. We quit our "day jobs" a few months ago and are taking our expertise online. I've been a licensed clinical social worker in private practice for the last 6 years. I closed down my brick and mortar doors and now have online doors so to speak. I believe many parents and families NEED additional support and encouragement. Yet, obstacles stand in the way (time, money, lack of health insurance, resistance to counseling). So, I've created a campaign called Be What's RIGHT, to help parents and caregivers learn how to role-model what we expect from children.
What is your blogging philosophy?
I believe that every blog should tell a story. Stories can be short or long. We each bring a story of our life to the table and blogging is a great way to share that story and the lessons in each of our stories.

Parents? 5 Tips For Raising Your Kids Together

Five tips to be better parents as a married couple.

When our daughter was two hours old, I looked at my husband and stated matter-of-factly, "You better have a good relationship with her for her entire life because there will come a time that you may be all we have." He just stared at me like I had horns coming out of my head and said, "She's two hours old, how could you possibly be thinking about her future?"

My reply, "Girls are tough to raise. They need strong men…

8 Valuable Parenting Lessons I Learned From My Dog

Posted on September 27, 2012 at 3:18pm 0 Comments

How your pooch can teach you to be a better parent.

Our dog Duke has been so depressed this week. He's a lovable yellow lab who is always willing to run with the kids, chase a ball or go for a long walk by the river. Not this week. He lays on the couch, mopes to his bowl for his breakfast and then returns to the couch.

So, why is this week different? School has started and he is missing our daughter. He misses her so much that he sleeps in her room every night and jumps…

Greetings from the Tampa Bay :) My name is Lea, and I am the author of Mother Baby Child - I started this blog to share my experience in having a baby just before my 1st son was about to turn 18 years old, as well as what life is like as a married mom after being single for so many years. I also blog about Christianity, baby and child stages, homeschooling, ADHD, Autism, Blog Marketing, etc. I share a lot on that blog during the non-summer seasons.

I also have a new healthy lifestyle choices and weight loss blog - - to accompany my Skinny Body business. I am working hard to complete the design of this new blog, so that I can provide valuable health lifestyle and weight loss information, as well as to share a solid opportunity for moms that want / need to make money by working at home.

I invite you to explore my blogs and provide your feedback.

I have GFC and my network links on both of them.

Now that my baby is older, I have more time to meet the moms. I am really excited about this!

I look forward to reading your blog and networking with you here at MBC :)

Hugs & Blessings!
